Tonight's adult presenter will be Dee Dee Jacobsen. Her topic is "Navigating Social Skills in Gifted Youth: Patience and Perseverance Required". Dee Dee will present common social concerns related to gifted youth and encourage an open discussion amongst parents faced with similar situations. Dee Dee is a Purdue University graduate with a BA in education and an emphasis in Gifted Learning. She is certified as a SENG parent group facilitator, parent of gifted children, and an independent consultant for Lake Country Gifted.
Katherine Tackes will be teaching the kids. Katherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Center for Anxiety Disorders in Brookfield, WI. She helps her clients solve their own problems by teaching them tools to assist them in the rest of their lives.

partners Greener Oconomowoc and Town & Country RCD is pleased to
host a showing of Aldo Leopold Film "Green Fire" for the Community.
Thursday February 7th at 7pm
Oconomowoc Arts Center

Featured guest, Curt Meine, Aldo Leopold's
biographer will be our speaker before the film. The FREE showing is
open to the public and is made possible by a generous grant from the
Oconomowoc Area Foundation.
"Green Fire" is the first full-length documentary film ever made about
legendary environmentalist Aldo Leopold. "Green Fire" highlights Leopold’s
extraordinary career, tracing how he shaped and influenced the modern
environmental movement. Leopold remains relevant today, inspiring
projects all over the country that connect people and land.
