Tonight's adult presenterwill be Dee Dee Jacobsen. Her topic is "Navigating Social Skills in Gifted Youth: Patience and Perseverance Required". Dee Dee will present common social concerns related to gifted youth and encourage an open discussion amongst parents faced with similar situations. Dee Dee is a Purdue University graduate with a BA in education and an emphasis in Gifted Learning. She is certified as a SENG parent group facilitator, parent of gifted children, and an independent consultant for Lake Country Gifted.
Katherine Tackes will be teaching the kids. Katherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Center for Anxiety Disorders in Brookfield, WI. She helps her clients solve their own problems by teaching them tools to assist them in the rest of their lives.
