Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets publishes an annual calendar of poetry the Poets' Calendar. Poets with a connection to Wisconsin are invited to submit their poetry for inclusion with no entrance fee. The calendar is one of our biggest projects each year and serves as our primary outreach effort.

The calendar is guest-edited by volunteer members and is very often themed. The theme for the 2024 calendar is “Margins." Think boundaries, outer limits, peripheries, borders and embankments. Consider how all things may be marginalized and how margins impact our lives. 180 Wisconsin poets, including the current and former Wisconsin poets laureate, have poems in the calendar.

This year’s editors were Nancy Austin and Kathleen Serley. The calendar features original artwork by Jeff Lange, an abstract painter from Mosinee, known for his use of color. The painting on the cover is called “Moments of High Drama.” His artwork also illustrates the seasons of the calendar. Wendy Vardaman handled design and layout.
