It was a dark and stormy night... When a child is found in the snow outside an isolated farm house; Wylie Lark's past comes back to haunt her. In the farmhouse Wylie is staying in there was a double murder years ago as well as a child gone missing. The story unfolds over the night and will have you reeling. I dare you to put this one down before you have read it all! Gudenkauf is one of the best authors in the thriller genre right now. I have read every one of her books and have not be disappointed once.

I LOVED this book!! It is so well written and the characters are amazing! In the summer of 1975 Mary Jane, who comes from a very straight-laced, strict family, becomes a nanny for Izzy who is 5, who steals the show!Mr. Cone is a psychiatrist and is treating/hosting a rock star and his wife over the course of the summer in their home. The Cone's live a more free lifestyle then Mary Jane is used to, ordering take-out every night, letting Izzy do as she pleases and not holding anything back. Mary Jane is stuck between the strictness of her home and the freeness of this new home, and this summer is one she will never forget. We watch as Mary Jane navigates the life between the two homes and becomes a richer person for it! You will love this story! It is full of heart and a precocious 5 year old!
Nothing ever happens in a small town, until it does... And it's usually huge! Kristen Hannah has done it again! I have read all of her books and this one is my favorite! Her stories keep you on the edge of your seat and keep you reading until the very last word and often you will want to reread it again right away! Twists and turns and an ending that you will not see coming! This is one not to be missed!

Several woman enter a woman's health clinic on the same day as a gunman -- all have a unique story to tell and all the stories are interwined within each other. Picoult weaves a wonderful tale -- this is one that should not be missed!
I was completely engulfed in this story from the very first page to the last word. Lakshmi craves independence - it's at the tip of her fingures - when her younger sister, a sister she didn't know she had, shows up and changes everything... Lakshmi is a well known Henna arist and confidant of the upper caste in India in the city of Jaipur in the 1950's... There are secrets only she knows and must keep to herself... This is a story that will stay with you long after you have finished it... Great for book groups! Watch for her new book The Secret Keeper of Jaipur coming out on June 22, 2021.
Have you ever asked yourself "What If..."? As Mia Jensen lies dying she sees all of her what if moments. Each moment/chapter is written by a different author and all are fabulous! This story reads like an episode of VH1's Behind the Music! We fallow the rise and fall of a rock band in the 60/70's. You get a glimpse into each member of the band and fall in love with Daisy and Billy! You will want to hear their sonsg and than see them perform live. A must read!
I absolutely LOVE this story! I read it every year during the Christmas season. Gideon is a little girl with cancer and a big heart, Earl is a homeless man with a lot of hate in his heart. The two meet and Gideon can not get Earl out of her head and wants to get him a Christmas gift. She does chores for her neighbors until she has enough money to buy Earl a gift, a gift that will change his world and his heart! This is a sweet cozy read that you will devour in one afternoon. Grab your favorite blanket, a cup of hot tea or cocoa and snuggle in. You may even shed a tear or two!
B.A. Paris is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to psychological thrillers! Behind Closed Doors will keep you on the edge of your seat! You want ot keep reading to see how much more deplorable the husband can be yet you want to stop at the same time because you can't imagine the wife taking any more of his abuse. This is NOT a story for the faint of heart!
This book left me breatheless! I loved how the author made you feel like you were right there with Lydia and Luca while they journey to el norte, to get away from Javier. I often had to remind myself that this is a work of fiction and these are characters in a story. This is a story that everyone should read. Young and old alike.
